Beyond the Bible Stories Class (Apologetics for Kids)

Is your 5th or 6th grader ready to dig deeper into the Scriptures? Beyond The Bible Stories is an apologetics class for 5th and 6th graders. This class is conducted in a small-group format that allows for maximum interaction and focused learning. The lessons will provide biblical answers to questions that your kids have about intelligent design, ape men, evolution, dinosaurs, the ice age, and aliens. The material is presented in a fun, age-appropriate manner that keeps your kids' attention and still challenges their young minds.
The primary goal of this class is to equip your kids to defend their faith in this world that is growing increasingly hostile towards Christianity. The lessons will help them connect God's Word to reality, with a focus on the history and science in the Bible. Your kids will learn that God's Word is Truth and it can be used to explain the world around them. Key verses in this class are 2 Timothy 4:3-4 and 1 Peter 3:15.
Registration Info
Class size is limited (10 kids per session) and registration is required. Please contact the Kids office to sign up! Your kids will be expected to make the commitment to attend each weekly class over the seven weeks, and homework will be assigned.
Please note: Students should also attend their regular Sunday School class at 8 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. The Beyond the Bible Stories class is not a replacement for regular Sunday School.
