Connecting: In Life-Changing Relationships

Mentoring & Life Groups

Key Verse: Ephesians 4:16
"He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”

Connecting Description: We honor God when we are connecting in life-changing relationships with others through one-on-one mentoring and life groups.  Healthy, life-sharing relationships result in spiritual growth, loving care and godly relationships.

You were designed to be a part of a church family, and that's exactly what Emmanuel Faith Community Church (EFCC) is intended to be -- your spiritual family. We hope you will get involved in one of our small "Life Groups."

Emmanuel Faith's Membership Process

Our Membership and Welcome Team exists to help you feel welcome here and guide you in the process of becoming an active, connected participant, and eventually a member of our family. Please let us know if we can be of service to you in any way. A variety of information and resources are available to you via the Welcome and Membership Ministry.

Our hope for each new visitor is to take a step toward becoming an active church member. There are three easy steps to become a member of EFCC:

(1) Attend Starting Point: This class will introduce you to our church family. You'll get to share your story (testimony) with a listener at your table, and completely fill out the membership application.

(2) Once you have attended EFCC for six months, you will be recommended for church membership at an upcoming congregation meeting which are held quarterly. We will contact you prior to this meeting and you are welcome to attend. Contact us for more details or for a meeting schedule.

(3) Once you become a member, we extend the "Right Hand of Fellowship" to you during a worship service. You will be contacted about 2-3 weeks prior and we will ask you which service you normally attend. During this service, Pastor Dennis will ask you to come forward and he will warmly welcome you to our church family in front of the congregation.

The Right Hand of Fellowship is usually offered four times a year (usually on the third weekend of the month in Feb., May, Aug. and Nov.).

More Info: If you have any questions about the next Right Hand of Fellowship, or your membership status, please feel free to contact us at (760) 781-2109 or .
