2020 Vision: Highlights by Year (through 2013)

Click here to view the 2012 Annual Meeting Report. Here's a quick look ahead of several of our overall Mission/Vision goals and highlights:

+ Year 2012 will be a year of Development. We will look at new strategy, involvement, new training, starting up the church planting committee, and reviewing technology. We seek that 5% of EFCC people will begin mentoring relationships (and go up by 5% each year); and 25% of our people will connect in small groups.

+ Year 2013 will be a year of Expansion. We will seek for 10% to be in mentoring relationships, 2,000 people (roughly 50% of EFCC) to be in small groups, start a 2nd Bridge ministry, and hire a Church Planter.

+ What will this take? (1) The blessing and direction of the Lord; (2) The guidance of the Holy Spirit; (3) You! (all of us) -- be all in!

+ EFCC seeks that: All members will commit to the new Mission (Honoring God by Living Like Jesus) and 2020 Vision; we will commit ourselves to prayer; to mentor or be mentored; participate in a small group; and reach out to our neighbors.

+ Lord willing, in 2020, we will have a Year of Celebration.

+ By 2020 we seek to have 50% of EFCC attendees involved in Mentoring (think discipleship) relationships, 100% of people in small groups, 100% involved in outreach, and have three more churches planted. Be praying for this great new vision!

Our Core Values

(1) Worship is God's desire from His people.
Therefore, we will respond to God's presence with us in all of life's circumstances.

(2) The Bible is God's Word, relevant and sufficient for every generation.
Therefore, we will follow the Scriptures as our only rule of faith and practice.

(3) Fellowship is God's method for connecting His family.
Therefore, we will participate in a "life-sharing" group in which spiritual growth is nurtured, loving care is practiced and godly relationships are developed.

(4) Spiritual maturity is God's design for every believer.
Therefore, we will strive to grow in Christlike love and care for each other, serving in our area of spiritual giftedness.

(5) Prayer releases God's power for ministry.
Therefore, we will pray regularly for the ministry effectiveness of EFCC.

(6) Evangelism is God's "heartbeat."
Therefore, we will aggressively proclaim the gospel locally and internationally.
