Hello EFCC Church Family! We hope you were able to worship the Lord with us this past weekend, and we trust you enjoyed the extended Labor Day weekend. We have some exciting and important news to share with you for this fall concerning the proposed revision of EFCC’s Statement of Faith.
Statement of Faith Update (Proposed)
Starting this week, the Board of Elders invites you to review the new EFCC Statement of Faith web page. This page will provide you with the following information:
• The current and proposed EFCC Statements of Faith with coinciding supportive Scripture.
• Video links to explanations and dialogue by Lead Pastor Ryan Paulson and Pastor Greg Lane.
• An explanation of the process and purpose of doing a Statement of Faith refresh including historical information and the process to this point.
We invite our entire church body to learn, engage and ask questions. Although only active EFCC members will vote on the new proposed Statement of Faith, it is important to us to interact with the entire church body as we go through the Statement of Faith revision process together. Click here to view the full text of the new proposed Statement (links to both the proposed and current versions are on the Statement of Faith page as well).
Active church members will vote to adopt this Statement of Faith on Sunday, October 25, at our rescheduled Annual Meeting. If you have any questions about your membership status, please contact our Welcome & Membership ministry via email at [email protected].
Please join us in praying for a deeper love for God and a strong commitment to each other as a church family while we consider the Board’s proposed revision of our Statement of Faith. May God be glorified in the process.
Grace + Peace to you,
