Our children are doubting the trustworthiness of the Bible at very young ages, and they have lots of questions. Did we evolve from apes? What about the dinosaurs? Was there really a worldwide flood? The Bible has all of these answers!
Beyond The Bible Stories is an apologetics class for kids that will strengthen their faith and equip them to confidently defend the truths of Scripture and boldly share the gospel. Plus there is plenty of kid-friendly excitement with music videos, science experiments, and fun games!
This class takes place on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. and runs for six weeks. There are two identical sessions each year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
Week 1: The Intelligent Designer and the 7 C’s of History
Week 2: Ape Men and Humans - Made in the Image of God?
Week 3: Evolution and the Created Kinds
Week 4: The Ice Age and the Worldwide Flood
Week 5: Has Anyone Seen a Dinosaur? Are They Described in the Bible?
Week 6: Review and Sharing the Gospel
These lessons will help your kids connect God's Word to reality, with a focus on the history and science in the Bible. Your kids will learn that God's Word is true and it can be used to explain the world around them. Key verses in this class are 2 Timothy 4:3-4 and 1 Peter 3:15.
Class size is limited (10 kids per session) and registration is required. Your kids will be expected to make the commitment to attend each of the six weeks, and homework will be assigned.
