Lori Smith has her degree in Music Education from John Brown University. Originally from Chicago, Brian and Lori moved to Riverside right out of college where they lived for 14 years. Lori taught music at Riverside Christian Day for one year, began her 21 years of teaching piano and directed her first choir in Riverside.
Lori and Brian arrived at EFCC in 1990. She volunteered for four years at EFCC, continued giving piano lessons, and became Escondido Christian School's Music Teacher for eight years while transitioning into the EFCC Director of Children's Choir position.
Using music and drama, Lori's desire is to train children in leading people to Jesus.

Nichele McCague is a wife, mother and homeschool teacher to her two boys, Bryce and Eric. She has always been passionate about music, a life-long piano player, and eventually minored in Visual and Performing Arts at Cal State San Marcos. As a school administrator she looked for opportunities to utilize learning through music in the classroom.
As a mother, she loves how singing allows for her children to memorize and incorporate Scripture into their everyday life! She is excited to work with your children as they prepare to minister to the community and congregation through worship. Psalm 95:1-2: "O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."
Ester Perez is the current administrative assistant for Children’s Choirs. She grew up in a musical family and has been passionate about music since birth. In college she pursued a minor in music but traded it in for an emphasis in youth ministry instead to go along with her degree in Christian Ministry from Point Loma Nazarene University.
She is very excited about directing Joy Sounds and helping children build and grow life changing relationships with Christ.
