Longtime thought to be a musical instrument only used for playing hymns in church, Resounding Praise uses modern techniques and skills to play all types of music as well as emit various sounds to weave though both traditional and contemporary musical scores here at EFCC and local venues.

In addition to church settings, our bell choir and ensemble have been privileged to perform at the Center for the Arts in Escondido, as well as various retirement homes, Christmas functions, and funerals. A handbell choir requires many individuals to work together as a team -- no bell is more important than another and no song can be complete without each ringer doing their part.

We’re using this unique instrument to visibly reflect the diversity and unity of the body of Christ in action -- many becoming “one voice” in order to glorify Christ in all we do. 1 Corinthians 12:12:  “For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

More About EFCC's Handbell Groups

RESOUNDING PRAISE BELL CHOIR: Resounding Praise is a compilation of bell ringers who have ringing experience ranging from one to 35+ years. Approximately 61 bells/5 octaves strong, we’re always looking for music reading partners to join us for fellowship, fun, and team building as we glorify Christ together through our love of music. Previous bell ringing is not required.

If interested in joining this ministry, please contact our Worship & Music Arts Dept. at (760) 781-2134, or email us.

BELLOCITY ENSEMBLE: Using more experienced ringers, Bellocity Ensemble was created from within our bell choir to make us more flexible in allowing bells to perform in venues that don’t need or can’t accommodate the full choir and its 6-trapazoid table requirement. This ensemble is by invitation only.
