Emmanuel Faith Church Family, thank you for your amazing and faithful support during the COVID season. We have been so grateful for the way the EFCC family has rallied together as a community and adapted to unprecedented change and disruption to “normal life …”

Statement of Faith Update

As a team of elders and staff we have been working hard to continue to serve this church body, and we are grateful for the way we have seen the Lord’s hand at work among us.

As you might know, we originally had our Annual Meeting scheduled for April 26, 2020. Due to the COVID shutdown, we were forced to postpone that meeting. Now we are excited to hold our Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 25, at 4pm on the EFCC Field. We understand if you are unable to attend due to health or travel concerns. Because of the importance of the meeting, it will be live-streamed online. A link will be provided on the Annual Meeting web page closer to the meeting date.

We are pleased to share with you the final proposed Statement of Faith (SOF), which is available here. After almost three years of hard work, it was approved overwhelmingly by the Board of Elders. As many of you know we have had several EFCC family town hall meetings to get your input and feedback. We took each suggestion seriously and made every effort to incorporate your input. It was amazing to see God craft our updated Statement of Faith, with input from 25 Elders and with the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Annual Meeting Update

The upcoming annual meeting mailing to church members will include a version of this letter and your ballot where you can vote on the following items:
(1) Final Proposed Statement of Faith
(2) Some Administrative changes to the Constitution and Bylaws
(3) List of new Elder Candidates
(4) List of Nominating Committee Candidates

The ballot will include instructions for returning it to church. You can mail your ballot in the return envelope provided, drop it by the church office by Thursday October 22, or bring it with you to the Annual Meeting on October 25 at 4pm. You can find more meeting details on our Annual Meeting and Statement of Faith web pages. Church members, please be watching your mailbox next week.

Once again, thank you for your love for Jesus, each other, and for this church. We are excited about all that the Lord is doing in our midst and believe the best is yet to come. If you have any questions, please reach out to the church office or me at [email protected].

For His glory,

Rich Bell
Chairman of the Elder Board
(on behalf of the Board of Elders)
