Summer Meditations in Psalms (for Women & Men)

2nd Wednesday in June, July & August
7-8:15 p.m., Education Center, Room 5

Contact: Jennie Roberts, (760) 781-2245

If you enjoy Scripture meditation, or if you’d like to explore this contemplative spiritual practice, join us for Summer Meditations in Psalms. Brief instruction will be provided followed by listening to God in the Scriptures. Community sharing will conclude each meeting time. Open to men or women of any age, and you do not need to attend all three gatherings. This study will be facilitated by Marsha Keating.

Set Apart Study (the Beatitudes)

Thursdays, Now Through August 15
9:30-11:30 a.m., Education Center, Room 21/22

Contact: Judy Dunn, (760) 297-5231

Unlike a circumstance-driven emotion such as happiness, blessedness is eternal and grounded in the reality of Christ in you. Join us this summer for Set Apart, a look at the Beatitudes by Jennifer Kennedy Dean.

Soul Keeping Book Study (for Women & Men)

Tuesdays, going on now, 10-11:30 a.m., or
Wednesdays, going on now, 7-8:30 p.m., Chapel downstairs

Contact: Jennie Roberts, (760) 781-2245

Our souls are often the most overlooked, underrated and least understood part of our being. We long for depth, satisfaction, to know God, and to know ourselves as He knows us. Don’t miss this co-ed study of John Ortberg’s book, Soul Keeping, which will be facilitated by Lynette Fuson and Jeremy Johnson. Identical studies will be offered Tuesdays mornings, or Wednesday nights..

This class will join with Summer Meditations in Psalms for the evening study on July 10. For more information or to register, contact Women's Ministries.
