Welcome to Church With EFCC
This new series is about gaining vision for and an invitation to a life that is not so new and not so normal. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to look at some of the ways the early church lived – so it’s not new, it’s 2,000 years old. But as we’re also going to see, it’s not normal, it was very strange. Following Jesus is anything but normal. In one of his letters, Peter called Christians a “peculiar people.” That means we’re different; even strange. Be prepared because over the next few weeks, you will be challenged to jump off the “normal” path and onto something that’s weird. Strange. Abnormal. Join us for the Not So New, Not So Normal series.

Keep Growing …
In light of this weekend’s sermon, following are some ways that we can continue to grow in our relationship with God, both personally and in connection with others.
Life/Family Group Questions
Engaging With Each Other
1. What are some things from the COVID-19 season for which you are thankful? Why? Is there anything that has been lost for which you are mourning? What and why?
Engaging With the Scriptures
2. As you look at the passage and the message outline, what are some things that stand out to you during this season of your life? Why? Is there one that seems to be more important than the others? Which is it? Why?
Engaging the Scriptures with Life
3. As you look at how you responded in Question 2, what does it mean for you to choose growth during this next (and new) season? What is one thing you can do this week to live that out? How can your group pray for you?
And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” Ezra 3:11
