Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard: Matthew 20:1-16
This week Pastor Ryan will continue in his series, “Essential Stories,” as he teaches from the Parables of Jesus. Following is a guide that will help you and your family engage in this time of worship during, following and in the week to come. We are glad you have joined us on the journey!
HOST: Welcome and Opening Prayer
As we conclude our time of worship, consider these questions.
Reflect: Take a moment to think about what from the passage and message impacted you most.
Share: What verses or points made an impact on you today and why?
Pray: Have one person pray a blessing over the group.

Keep Growing …
In light of this weekend’s sermon, following are some ways that we can continue to grow in our relationship with Jesus both personally and in connection with others. (To join or lead a Life Group or to access leader’s notes visit here: Life Groups Online)
Discuss (Life Group Questions)
1. When was a time you felt like you received more than you deserved? When was a time you felt like you received less than you deserved?
2. How does your perspective help you experience God’s grace when you feel like you received less than you deserved?
3. What is the definition of grace? What does grace look like when given from a pure heart?
Using the practice of Lectio Divina, meditate on Luke 11:1-13.
How can we have less of a comparison mindset in our daily work? Do something kind for someone this week who doesn’t deserve it.
Study Matthew 5:43-48
