Living in the Way of Jesus with the Heart of Jesus.

Come Find Your Place Here!
High school is one of the most exciting and difficult times in a young person’s life! It's a pivotal crossroads where they are trying to figure out who they are and what is their purpose. At EFCC's High School Ministry (HSM), our team is committed to understanding the changes happening in your student, and we’re honored to invest in high school students to become all that God has designed them to be!
Whether a student has known Jesus his or her entire life, one month or are in the process of navigating faith, HSM is a place where all students are welcome. For more info, contact us via the button below or call (760) 781-2140 (please note our updated phone number). Or see further below under "Upcoming Events" for our latest events calendar. Make sure to sign up soon for summer camp at Hume Lake (June 11-17) -- follow the events link below.

Jesus said it best: “love your neighbor.” your neighbor is everyone around you; your LGBTQIA+ neighbor, your refugee neighbor, your church neighbor, your next door neighbor. as pastor JT says, “it’s hard to love people. but it’s a command, not an option. if God isn’t partial with love or favoritism, then we shouldn’t be either.” let us not humanly attempt to limit Christ’s love and gatekeep it from our neighbors. let us love them as Christ commands us to.

THE STORYTELLER SESSIONS / Get to know Audrey! What brings you JOY? “Spending time with God, nature and admiring the beauty. The same God that created all the mountains created you too. I think that’s so magical, because that’s so true and that’s crazy to me. Spending time in nature and remembering that makes me feel so important and grateful.” How have you experienced God in your life? “I’ve experienced God in a very loving way within a community. Especially [in] Emmanuel Faith, I’ve felt a sense of community and love that I’ve never felt in my life before. “I feel like I have a purpose now. That I’m here for a reason—to be here for others and love others. I feel like I have a calling to work with little kids.” Fave part of HSM “How welcoming the community is. It doesn’t matter who you are—the moment you walk through those doors, you’re part of that family.” #efccstorytellersessions

THE STORYTELLER SESSIONS / Meet Audrey God is the storyteller of our lives. What chapter are you in and what have you been learning? “I feel like I’m seventeen years late, and I’m ready to give my life to Christ and for that next step in my faith. God’s been revealing to me my character flaws and what I need to work on. Making God my #1 priority.” When did God become real to you? “I transferred to Classical for junior year and my friend group, they all went to FCA. They went to Emmanuel Faith and they talked so highly of it and loved it and were so excited to go every week. And then JT came and spoke at FCA. I finally went [to Emmanuel Faith] in December. “I don’t know what took me so long. It started by people just making me feel wanted and welcome and everyone being so kind, and experiencing a kindness that I hadn’t experienced anywhere else. “I think God became real to me when I got baptized. When the whole high school ministry came over to the main chapel to watch me, and everyone prayed before, I felt God’s presence more in that moment than I think I ever have. I didn’t know most of the people, I didn’t know their names, but everyone loved everyone. God was working and it was so cool to see and feel and witness that.” What is something you wish people knew about your heart? “My heart just has a want to love. I love [people] with my whole heart and even when they mess up or do something wrong, I love them with all my heart and want the best for them.” #efccstorytellersessions
