New 'Follow' Series
👣 Follow: A New Sermon Series at Emmanuel Faith
What does it really mean to follow Jesus?
Not just believe in Him — but walk with Him daily, grow alongside others, and live on mission in every part of life.
Our new sermon series, Follow, is an invitation into a deeper journey of discipleship — learning to follow Jesus in community and on mission. It’s rooted in Jesus’ simple, life-changing call: “Follow Me.”
📖 A Journey of Discipleship
At Emmanuel Faith, we define a disciple as someone who is following Jesus in community on mission. That’s the heart behind this series — not just gaining knowledge, but experiencing real transformation that shapes how we live, love, and relate to others.
This journey reflects the disciple DNA we hope to grow in every believer:
D – Daily time with God: creating space to be with Jesus.
N – Nurtured in community: growing alongside others.
A – Active on mission: joining Jesus in His work where we live, work, learn, and play.
Our prayer is that through this series you would encounter Jesus afresh, grow confident in your identity as His beloved, and experience lasting spiritual growth that overflows into every area of life. One of the best ways to live this out is by walking alongside others — learning, praying, and growing together in community.

🤝 Built for Community
This journey was never meant to be walked alone.
Discipleship isn’t a solo project — it flourishes in relationships. Whether through Connect Groups, friendships around the table, or conversations within our church family, we grow best when we walk together.
You’ll hear encouragement throughout this series to stay engaged, ask honest questions, and take intentional steps toward spiritual growth. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress. God is already at work in you, and He invites you to participate in what He’s doing.
🕊️ Make Room for God to Work
This series invites us into a slower, more intentional rhythm with Jesus — one marked by daily time with Him, consistent community, and a willingness to respond when He calls us to grow.
As we follow Jesus together, we believe the Holy Spirit meets ordinary people who make simple, consistent room for Him. We pray that you’ll experience fresh courage, renewed faith, and a deeper desire to reflect Christ in your homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods.
🎧 Ready to Begin the Journey?
Whether you’re new to church, new to faith, or have been following Jesus for years, this series is for you.

Global Sunday
Exploring the World Together: Global Sunday at EFCC
Over the past year our church community has been reflecting on what it means to live on mission—both locally and around the world. This Sunday, November 2, we invite you to join us for Global Sunday, when we’ll celebrate how God is working across nations, how lives are being changed, and how we can all take part. Whether you’ve never traveled overseas or you’ve never left Escondido, there’s a place for you in this story of hope and outreach. CLICK HERE to Learn More About Global Sunday.
🌍 What “Global Sunday” Means
Global Sunday is more than just an event—it’s an invitation to see how the gospel extends beyond our walls. On this day:
- Pastor Luke will share a message out of Ephesians 2:11-22 on “Global Family” that will talk about how God is forming a new kind of family—one that is beautifully diverse, global, eternal, and still growing as we invite others to join the story.
- You’ll experience cultures from around the world through sights, sounds and stories of what God is doing in different countries.
- After our morning services, we’ll host a Global Party in the Courtyard, where the community can engage in international flavors, testimonies, and interactive displays of mission work.
💡 Why This Matters Right Now
- Because the need is real. There are still large populations around the world who have little to no access to the gospel, and our church has committed to standing in the gap.
- Because we’re not just sent to one place—we’re sent to all people. The command to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) still drives us today.
- Because mission changes us. When we engage with the global church, our perspective shifts—not just on “over there,” but on how we live “here” and now.
📝 What to Expect on Sunday
- Services at 9:00 am, 10:45 am, & 5:00 pm (standard schedule)
- A message tailored to Global Sunday, designed to challenge, encourage and mobilize
- Post‑service Global Party in the Courtyard following the morning services—come for the experience, stay for the community
- Opportunities to learn about our global partners, take next steps in mission, and discover how you can join in
🙏 Take the Next Step
We believe mission is for everyone—because the love of Christ knows no borders. If you’re ready to join the conversation:
- Come prepared to ask: What part of this story is mine?
- Bring a friend or family member and make this Sunday a shared experience
- Be open to how God might move in you as you engage with His global kingdom
📣 Want to Experience More?
Global Sunday is more than just one weekend—it’s a reflection of God’s heart for the world and His invitation for each of us to take part. Whether you’re curious, excited, or ready to take your next step, there’s a place for you in the story.

Heaven: Series & Seminar
Exploring Heaven: Series Recap + Live Q&A Seminar
For several weeks this year, we explored what heaven really means—its beauty, its promise, and how it changes the way we live today. Through Pastor Ryan’s Heaven series and our special Heaven Seminar & Q&A, we discovered together that heaven isn’t just our future hope—it’s a truth that shapes how we live right now.
🕊️ Heaven Series Highlights
- Heaven and the New Earth: A biblical picture of restoration, not escape—of a renewed creation where God dwells with His people.
- Living with Eternal Perspective: How the hope of heaven impacts our daily life, faith, and mission.
- Jesus, the Way to Heaven: The centrality of Christ’s resurrection and promises in shaping our eternal hope.
- What Happens After Death: The Bible’s teaching on resurrection, judgment, and everlasting life with God.
🎤 What the Heaven Seminar Covered
At the live seminar, Pastor Ryan responded to real questions from our church community, such as:
- Will we recognize our loved ones in heaven?
- What about people who haven’t heard the Gospel?
- Will heaven be physical or spiritual?
- Is there a difference between “heaven” and the “new earth”?
He also clarified common misconceptions and grounded the answers in Scripture—drawing from passages like Revelation 21, 1 Corinthians 15, and more. The tone was both biblical and pastoral, offering encouragement and hope for the future God has promised us.

🙏 Final Thoughts
The hope of heaven isn't just about the future—it's a truth that empowers us to live with purpose today. As we await the full restoration of all things, let’s keep our hearts rooted in God’s promises and our lives aligned with His eternal kingdom.
