Luke B.
Luke joined our staff in the summer of 2020, coming over to our staff from another local Southern California church. Luke brings a passionate heart for ministry, and a solid background of both community and global outreach to our church family.
Swinscoe, Zack
Zack has spent the majority of his years in San Diego County. Having received his B.A. from San Diego State, he went off to fly in the Navy for about 10 years before moving into a successful career as a commercial real estate broker and developer. In 1993 he encountered a near-death accident that transformed his life forever. That gift from God took him on a journey of spiritual reflection and growth and caused him a thirst to follow Jesus in the way of Jesus!
In 2001 he was asked to become staff Director of Ministry to Men at EFCC and build a vision and direction for men in our congregation. He deeply loved serving God and the men but recognized it was time to hand that baton on. And so July of 2015 he retired from that role. That same month, he and his wife, Linda, were asked as lay leaders to head up a $16 million fundraising for our new Children’s Building. In 2017 Zack was elected to be an elder and feels deeply honored to serve the church and God. In 2020, he was chosen to be the Chairman of the Board where he now wears many hats.
He has been married to his lovely bride Linda for 40 years and they have two daughters and one granddaughter with another granddaughter coming in February. Zack keeps very busy at church and doing projects for the kids. But he loves his quiet time with God the most and looks for divine appointments that God places on his calendar every day!
