One of our favorite fall traditions is almost here! The Harvest Party returns to Emmanuel Faith Community Church on Saturday, October 24, and we can’t wait to welcome families from all across Escondido and San Diego County for an unforgettable evening together.
Gather the family, invite your friends and neighbors, and join us for a night filled with rides, games, food, candy, live music, and plenty of fall fun!

Our Harvest Party attractions and tickets are designed for children ages 2 years old through 6th grade. They’ll have an evening packed with fun, including:

The Harvest Party is one of our biggest community events of the year, and we’d love to have your family join us!
🎟️ How Do Event Tickets Work?
We’ve made it easy! Tickets are only needed for children ages 2 years old through 6th grade who will be participating in the rides, games, and attractions.
The tickets are $10 each and come with a hot dog dinner and a variety of treats, including cotton candy, popcorn, and caramel apples. Adults and kids older than 6th grade are welcome to attend without purchasing an event ticket. They may purchase the same food with a separate Meal Ticket, also for $10.
Both ticket types are available for purchase now at Emmanuel Faith, but there’s no need to worry if you don’t purchase them ahead of time. Most families simply purchase tickets for their children or meal tickets when they arrive at the event. We also will have ample, free parking with easy access.

Harvest Party is about more than rides and games. It’s an opportunity to spend time together, connect with friends and neighbors, and welcome our community to Emmanuel Faith.

Fall Connect Groups
🤝 Find Your Place to Connect This Fall
We all long for deeper connection — with God and with the people around us. This fall, Connect Groups are returning to Emmanuel Faith Community Church, and now is the perfect time to find your group!
Beginning September 13th, Connect Groups will gather throughout the fall alongside EFCC's new Honest to God sermon series. These sermon-based discussion groups are designed to help you build authentic relationships, share life together, and grow deeper in your faith.

❓ Exploring the Questions Jesus Asked
Throughout the Gospels, Jesus asked more than 300 questions. He didn't ask because He needed information. His questions invited people to think, examine what was happening beneath the surface, and experience genuine transformation.
This fall's Honest to God series will explore some of Jesus' most soul-searching questions — and what they can reveal about our own hearts and relationship with God today.
Connect Groups give us the opportunity to take those Sunday conversations deeper. Together, we'll discuss what we're learning, wrestle with meaningful questions, encourage one another, and discover how Jesus continues to transform our lives.

Wednesday evening groups meet during KidsClubs and student ministry programs, making it easier for the whole family to get connected at the same time.
Can't make Wednesdays? No problem! Connect Groups will also be available at other times throughout the week.
👨👩👧👦 There's a Place for Your Kids, Too!
Wednesday nights aren't just for adults! While you're connecting with your group, EFCC offers programs designed specifically for kids and students.
Programs are available for infants through 6th grade, Junior High, and High School students, giving your kids an opportunity to learn about Jesus, build friendships, and have fun while you're participating in your Connect Group.
KidsClubs for infants through 6th grade require pre-registration, so be sure to register your children when signing up for your group.
📖 Take the Conversation Home
EFCC has also created an Honest to God Study Guide to accompany the sermon series and Connect Group discussions.
Copies will be available in the Worship Center and Chapel lobbies on Sundays for a suggested donation of $10. The guide is designed to help you continue engaging with the questions and themes from the series throughout the week.

As we celebrate the Christmas season together, we’re also walking through our current sermon series, The Journey of Christmas. Throughout Scripture, the story of the first Christmas is filled with movement—Mary visiting Elizabeth, Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem, shepherds hurrying from the fields, and Magi crossing nations in search of a newborn King.

Global Sunday
Exploring the World Together: Global Sunday at EFCC
Over the past year our church community has been reflecting on what it means to live on mission—both locally and around the world. This Sunday, November 2, we invite you to join us for Global Sunday, when we’ll celebrate how God is working across nations, how lives are being changed, and how we can all take part. 🌍 What “Global Sunday” Means
Global Sunday is more than just an event—it’s an invitation to see how the gospel extends beyond our walls. On this day:
- Pastor Luke will share a message out of Ephesians 2:11-22 on “Global Family” that will talk about how God is forming a new kind of family—one that is beautifully diverse, global, eternal, and still growing as we invite others to join the story.
- You’ll experience cultures from around the world through sights, sounds and stories of what God is doing in different countries.
- After our morning services, we’ll host a Global Party in the Courtyard, where the community can engage in international flavors, testimonies, and interactive displays of mission work.
💡 Why This Matters Right Now
- Because the need is real. There are still large populations around the world who have little to no access to the gospel, and our church has committed to standing in the gap.
- Because we’re not just sent to one place—we’re sent to all people. The command to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19) still drives us today.
- Because mission changes us. When we engage with the global church, our perspective shifts—not just on “over there,” but on how we live “here” and now.

Exploring Heaven: Series Recap + Live Q&A Seminar
For several weeks this year, we explored what heaven really means—its beauty, its promise, and how it changes the way we live today. Through Pastor Ryan’s Heaven series and our special Heaven Seminar & Q&A, we discovered together that heaven isn’t just our future hope—it’s a truth that shapes how we live right now.
🕊️ Heaven Series Highlights
- Heaven and the New Earth: A biblical picture of restoration, not escape—of a renewed creation where God dwells with His people.
- Living with Eternal Perspective: How the hope of heaven impacts our daily life, faith, and mission.
- Jesus, the Way to Heaven: The centrality of Christ’s resurrection and promises in shaping our eternal hope.
- What Happens After Death: The Bible’s teaching on resurrection, judgment, and everlasting life with God.
🎤 What the Heaven Seminar Covered
At the live seminar, Pastor Ryan responded to real questions from our church community, such as:
- Will we recognize our loved ones in heaven?
- What about people who haven’t heard the Gospel?
- Will heaven be physical or spiritual?
- Is there a difference between “heaven” and the “new earth”?
He also clarified common misconceptions and grounded the answers in Scripture—drawing from passages like Revelation 21, 1 Corinthians 15, and more. The tone was both biblical and pastoral, offering encouragement and hope for the future God has promised us.
